How to Deposit Cryptocurrency
Follow these steps to deposit crypto into your ByteExchange account.
Step-by-Step Guide
- Log in to your ByteExchange account at bexc.io.
- Navigate to Wallet > Deposit.
- Search for and select the coin you want to deposit (e.g., BTC, ETH, USDT).
- Select the correct network. This is the most critical step.
- Copy the deposit address or scan the QR code.
- Open your external wallet or exchange and send funds to the copied address.
Choosing the Right Network
Many tokens exist on multiple blockchains. You must select the same network on both the sending and receiving side.

Warning: Sending tokens on the wrong network will result in permanent loss of funds. ByteExchange cannot recover wrongly-sent tokens.
Deposit Confirmations
Each network requires a certain number of block confirmations before your deposit is credited:
- Bitcoin: 2 confirmations (~20 min)
- Ethereum / ERC-20: 12 confirmations (~3 min)
- Tron / TRC-20: 20 confirmations (~1 min)
- BSC / BEP-20: 15 confirmations (~1 min)
Important Notes
- Each coin has a minimum deposit amount. Deposits below the minimum will not be credited.
- Some coins require both an address and a memo/tag (e.g., XRP, XLM, ATOM). Forgetting the memo may delay or lose your deposit.
- Deposit addresses may change periodically for security. Always copy a fresh address before sending.
