What is Fast Predict?
Fast Predict is a free-points BTC price-prediction game inside the Byte Quest Mini App (the "Predict" tab). In each ~30-second round you predict whether BTC/USDT goes up or down. A correct prediction returns 1.9× your points; a wrong one forfeits the points you used.
Important: Fast Predict is played with free-earned Byte Quest points only. It is never played with real money or crypto, and points can never be purchased with money — so it is a for-fun community game, not gambling and not a financial product. No guaranteed value or profit.
How a round works (60 seconds)
- Predict phase (0–30s): you see the live BTC/USDT price; pick how many points to use (10 / 50 / 100 / 500) and tap the big green UP or red DOWN button.
- Lock (at 30s): the round locks and the reference price is recorded ("Locked at $X"). No more predictions are accepted.
- Result (at 60s): the closing price is recorded. Close > open → Up; close < open → Down; equal → No change.
- Result card: a Win / Miss card shows your direction, the entry → result price, and your points change.
Payouts
- Correct direction → you get 1.9× the points you used (e.g. 100 → 190).
- Wrong direction → the points you used are forfeited.
- No change (flat) → your points are fully refunded (no win, no loss).
Where does the price come from?
Fast Predict uses Byte Exchange's live order-book mid price — the same real-time feed the trading chart uses. The price you watch is exactly the price your result is judged on.
Good to know
- One prediction per round; you can use between 10 and 500 points.
- Points are debited when you predict and credited 1.9× when you win — all in the Byte Quest points ledger, never your wallet.
- Your Fast Predict results affect your Byte Quest leaderboard standing (winning climbs, losing drops).
