KYC Verification on ByteExchange
Know Your Customer (KYC) verification is required to unlock the full range of features on ByteExchange including higher withdrawal limits, fiat deposits, and P2P trading.
Verification Levels

How to Complete Level 1
- Go to Settings > Verification or click the verification banner on your dashboard.
- Select your country of residence and ID type (Passport, National ID, or Driver's License).
- Upload a clear photo of the front and back of your ID.
- Take a selfie using your webcam or phone camera. Ensure good lighting and remove hats or glasses.
- Submit and wait for review.
Verification typically takes 5 to 30 minutes during business hours. In rare cases it may take up to 24 hours.
Common Rejection Reasons
- Blurry or low-resolution images
- ID is expired
- Selfie does not match the ID photo
- Information is partially obscured
Level 2 — Address Verification
Upload one of the following documents dated within the last 3 months:
- Utility bill (electricity, water, gas)
- Bank statement
- Government-issued letter
Tips
- Use your phone camera for the clearest photos.
- Ensure all four corners of the document are visible.
- Do not edit or crop the images.
