Getting Started with P2P Trading
P2P (Peer-to-Peer) trading allows you to buy and sell cryptocurrency directly with other users using your preferred payment method and local currency.
How P2P Works
- Browse Ads — Find offers from other traders to buy or sell crypto.
- Open a Trade — Select an ad and enter the amount you want to trade.
- Escrow — The seller's crypto is locked in ByteExchange escrow for safety.
- Payment — The buyer sends payment through the agreed method (bank transfer, mobile payment, etc.).
- Release — Once the seller confirms payment receipt, the crypto is released to the buyer.
Requirements
- KYC Level 1 verification is required
- A P2P nickname (set in P2P Settings — separate from your exchange nickname)
