How to Stake Your Crypto on ByteExchange
Staking allows you to earn passive rewards by locking your cryptocurrency for a specified period. ByteExchange offers both flexible and locked staking options.

Flexible Staking
- No lock period — Withdraw your funds at any time
- Lower APY — Typically 1-5% depending on the asset
- Daily rewards — Interest is calculated and distributed daily
- Best for: Users who want liquidity
Locked Staking
- Fixed lock period — 30, 60, 90, or 120 days
- Higher APY — Typically 5-20% depending on asset and duration
- Rewards at maturity or daily, depending on the product
- Best for: Users willing to commit for higher returns
How to Stake
- Navigate to Earn > Staking.
- Browse available staking products.
- Select the asset and staking type (Flexible or Locked).
- Enter the amount you want to stake.
- Review the estimated rewards and terms.
- Click Stake to confirm.

Managing Your Stakes
- View active stakes in Earn > My Staking.
- Track accumulated rewards in real-time.
- Redeem flexible stakes at any time.
- Locked stakes auto-redeem at the end of the lock period.
Important Notes
- Staked assets are moved from your Spot Wallet to the Staking Wallet.
- Early redemption of locked stakes may incur a penalty (forfeiture of accrued rewards).
- Staking rewards are not guaranteed and depend on network performance.
