DegenPass is Byte Exchange’s on-chain trading surface: real swaps across EVM, Solana and TON, made from a normal exchange account. The Telegram bot brings that surface into the groups where new tokens are actually found — a free scanner for your members, a one-tap route into the token, and a share of the fee for the group that hosts it.

Set it up in 60 seconds

Three steps, one minute, no configuration file. Everything below happens inside Telegram.

• 1. Add the bot to your group — /start — Use the “Add to Telegram” button, pick your group, and grant it admin rights so it can post scan cards and reply to commands.
• 2. Link the group to your Byte Exchange account — /link — Run the link command once, in your group. It ties the group to the admin account that will receive the group’s share.
• 3. Scan your first token — /scan <contract address> — Paste any contract address. The bot replies with the safety checks, the liquidity reading, the trust score and a one-tap buy link.

What the bot does

• Scanner (/scan <contract>) — Contract-safety checks (honeypot behaviour, mint and freeze authority, ownership, blacklist and pausable transfers), liquidity and LP-lock readings, holder distribution, and the published trust score. Every reading is stamped with when it was measured, and an axis we could not measure is reported as “not measured” rather than as a pass.
• Buy bot (/buy <contract>) — A tap takes the reader into the swap. The swap executes on-chain through a DEX aggregator from their Byte Exchange account — no external wallet to connect, no seed phrase to paste, no approval popup to read.
• Gatekeeper — Join checks and spam filtering run inside the same bot, so a group that already trusts it for scans does not need to hand admin rights to a second, unrelated bot as well.
• Earner — Swaps that start from your group are attributed to your group. When group rewards are switched on for your group, that attribution is what the admin share is paid from.
• Trending channel (/trending) — A feed of what is moving, posted as the same neutral card the exchange already broadcasts — the reading, the measurement time, and the risk note, without a call to buy.

How earnings work

A swap made from your group carries your group’s attribution with it, all the way to settlement. That is what makes an admin share payable at all: the reward is tied to a completed swap, not to a click.

The admin share is a portion of the fee Byte Exchange already charges on that swap. It is set by Byte Exchange, shown in the bot before you enable it, and the same for every group on the same terms — so what you can earn scales with how much your members actually trade.

Group rewards are being rolled out group by group. The bot tells you where your group stands, and the reward ledger is the exchange’s own — the same one that pays every other referral on Byte Exchange.

Byte Exchange does not publish a projected figure for what a group will earn, because that number depends entirely on your members’ own trading. What the bot shows you is the rate and the amount actually credited.

This page is the reference point for the official DegenPass bot. If you are about to add a bot to your group, or a bot has messaged you claiming to be us, check it here first.

The official handle will be published on this page as soon as it is registered — this page goes up first, on bexc.io, exactly so that there is somewhere authoritative to check it against.

• We never ask you to connect a wallet. DegenPass swaps run from your Byte Exchange account, so there is nothing to connect and no seed phrase to enter — anywhere, ever.
• We never ask you to run code, paste a private key or seed phrase, or sign a message to “verify” yourself or your group.
• We never send you to a separate “verification” page or bot to unlock a group. Everything the official bot needs happens in the Telegram chat itself.
• The official bot links back to bexc.io, and this page links back to it. Two links that agree is the check — a handle that appears in only one of the two places has not been confirmed by us.

How to check that it is us

• Compare the handle character for character with the one published on this page. Look-alike handles differ by a single character, often an underscore or a digit.
• Open bexc.io directly by typing it, rather than through a link you were sent, and come back to this page.
• Ask in the official Byte Exchange Telegram channel before granting admin rights to any bot.
• If a bot asks for a wallet connection, a seed phrase, a signature or a code to run, close it and ask us — that request is not something the official bot makes.

Is the DegenPass Telegram bot free?

Yes. Adding the bot, scanning tokens and using the trending feed cost nothing. Byte Exchange earns from the trading fee on swaps, which is also where a group admin’s share comes from.

Do my members need a wallet to buy?

No. A DegenPass swap runs from a Byte Exchange account and executes on-chain through a DEX aggregator, so there is no external wallet to connect and no seed phrase to enter. Members need a Byte Exchange account, which they can open from the bot.

Which networks does the scanner cover?

DegenPass trades across EVM networks, Solana and TON. Coverage of the safety checks varies by network and by token — where a check has not run, the bot reports it as “not measured” instead of presenting it as a pass.

How does a group admin earn from the bot?

Swaps that start in your group are attributed to your group and settled through the exchange’s own reward ledger. When group rewards are switched on for your group, the admin share of the trading fee is credited from that attribution. The rate is shown in the bot.

How do I know I am adding the official bot?

Compare the handle with the one published on this page at bexc.io/degenpass/bot, reached by typing the address yourself. The official bot never asks you to connect a wallet, paste a seed phrase, sign a message, or run code.

Does the trust score tell me a token is safe?

No, and it is not built to. It is a published measurement of the signals we could read, with the weights listed on the methodology page. Signals we could not read score zero rather than being assumed good, so a low score can mean “risky” or simply “not much is measurable yet”.

Can I use the bot in a group I do not own?

Adding a bot to a group needs admin rights in that group. If you are a member, the scanner also works in a direct chat with the bot, and you can pass the group along to whoever administers it.
