How the DEX Token Trust Score is built
The score is out of 100, built from 5 axes. The weights below are the ones the product actually runs — this page is rendered from the same table the scorer reads, so it cannot describe a formula we do not use.
| Axis | Weight | What it measures |
|---|---|---|
| security scan | 30 | Contract-level safety checks from an independent scanner (GoPlus on EVM chains, RugCheck plus a Jupiter cross-check on Solana): honeypot behaviour where it can be measured, buy/sell or transfer taxes, mint and freeze authority, liquidity-pool locking, and holder concentration. A token that has never been scanned scores zero here and is reported as not measured — never as clean. |
| identity | 20 | Whether the contract matches the coin its ticker claims to be, checked against CoinGecko's registry of (chain, contract) pairs. A contract confirmed as the listed asset scores full marks; one that collides with a better-known ticker scores zero and the page names the ticker it collides with. |
| liquidity resilience | 25 | How much liquidity the market holds today, and how much of its own recorded peak it has kept. Depth alone is not enough: a pool that held ten million dollars and now holds ten thousand is scored on what is left, not on what it once was. |
| age | 15 | How long the token's first market has been open. Capped deliberately low, because surviving a long time is weak evidence of honesty — it is a filter against day-old launches, not a measure of quality. |
| information completeness | 10 | Whether the project publishes the basics a buyer would look for: a description, a website, and reachable social accounts. Weighted lightly on purpose — anyone can buy a domain, so this breaks ties rather than carrying the score. |
What happens when we cannot measure something
An axis we could not measure scores zero and is labelled "not measured" on the token page — never quietly dropped, and never rounded up. A token nobody has scanned must not score like one that scanned clean, because an index that rewards obscurity is worse than no index. The consequence is deliberate: thin coverage produces a low score, and the page says which signals were missing rather than implying the token is bad.
What this score is not
It is not a verdict, a rating, a recommendation or a prediction. There is no "safe" or "scam" stamp anywhere in this system. It is an aggregate of things we measured, with the workings shown, so you can disagree with it.
Where the data comes from
Contract safety from GoPlus on EVM chains and RugCheck cross-checked against Jupiter on Solana. Identity from the CoinGecko (chain, contract) registry. Liquidity, volume and market age from DexScreener and GeckoTerminal. Each token page stamps the time each figure was measured.
