DegenPass: Swap Meme Coins and Low-Cap Tokens On-Chain
DegenPass is BEXC's custodial DEX (decentralized exchange) proxy. You provide USDT, and BEXC executes a real on-chain swap through a DEX aggregator on your behalf — no wallet setup, seed phrase, or gas fee to manage. It's designed for meme coins and early/low-cap tokens that aren't listed on BEXC's regular spot market.
How it works
Every DegenPass swap is a genuine on-chain transaction — BEXC never holds inventory itself, it only routes and signs. Your USDT is swapped through a DEX aggregator (1inch on EVM chains, Jupiter on Solana, STON.fi on TON) for the token you choose, and the resulting token is held for you in an off-chain ledger inside your BEXC account, viewable under the Holdings tab at /degenpass. The active chain set (which chains currently support swaps) is returned live by the app, since not every chain is always fully enabled.
The flow is a three-step pipeline: Quote (a short-lived price + slippage estimate), Lock (your USDT is escrowed once you accept the quote), and Execute (an MPC-signed transaction is broadcast on-chain and, once confirmed, settled to your BEXC balance). You can discover tokens via a trending feed (by volume, transaction count, and holder growth) or by searching a contract address directly. Stop-loss and limit orders are also available for automated buy/sell triggers.
Steps
- Go to
/degenpassand choose a chain. - Search for a token by name or contract address, or pick one from the trending feed.
- Open the token detail page and choose Buy (or Sell).
- Enter a USDT amount and tap Get Quote.
- Accept the quote to Lock it (your USDT moves to escrow).
- Tap Execute — BEXC signs and broadcasts the swap on-chain and waits for confirmation.
- Once settled, the new token appears in your Holdings tab.
Common questions
How is DegenPass different from spot trading? Spot trading uses BEXC's own order book for listed coins with lower fees. DegenPass swaps any on-chain token — including ones not listed on spot — through a real DEX, which typically costs a bit more due to spread and slippage.
Which chains are supported? The list of active chains can change; check GET /api/v1/degenpass/chains or the chain selector in the app for the current live set. Not every chain is always open for swaps.
What determines the cost of a swap? There's no separate BEXC platform fee for swaps; cost comes mainly from the DEX's own spread and any price slippage between quote and execution. BEXC covers the on-chain gas fee itself.
Why did my quote change or expire? Quotes are only valid for a short window since on-chain prices move constantly. If a quote expires, simply request a new one.
My swap looks stuck as "pending" — what do I do? A swap moves through pending → submitted → confirmed → settled as the blockchain confirms it. If it stays pending unusually long, check the Pending Orders view for the transaction status, or contact support with the transaction hash for manual review.
Can I set a stop-loss or limit order on a DegenPass token? Yes — both are available from a token's detail page under the advanced order options, and are monitored automatically.
DegenPass tokens are often unaudited, low-liquidity, and high-risk (including rug-pull risk). Only swap what you can afford to lose, and always review a token before buying.
